PristineCheck is a product in the PristineBlue Chlorine-Free Water Sanitation System but may be used to reduce the calcium hardness in swimming pool water whatever sanitation system is used. The pool must be equipped with a water filter and so this product cannot be used for pools which do not have this (ie small paddling pools).

PristineCheck is added to your pool at start up, each Spring opening and each time the pool is topped up with hard water. It prepares your pool water to receive PristineBlue by sequestering calcium out of the pool water to the filter which is then backwashed before PristineBlue is added to the pool. Initial dose for swimming pools is just 160 mls per 10,000 ltr (2200 imp gal) water volume and for spas 16 mls per 1000 litres spa water volume.
